**Main Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods, and utilizing food surpluses.
- Specifies number of servings to be made from any vegetable, meat, beverage, and dessert to control portion costs.
- checks the food stock for freshness and quality on a regular basis.
- It is the duty of a Kitchen Supervisor to look into any customer complaints and be able to resolve such complaints on food service or quality.
- Kitchen Supervisor is the one who makes a schedule for the routinely equipment maintenance, waste removal and cleaning services.
- Supervises COOK and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.
- Supervises workers engaged in inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
- Purchases foodstuffs, kitchen supplies, and equipment, or requisitions them from PURCHASING AGENT.
- Trains new workers.
- Performs other duties as described

**Qualifications**:

- Proven 2+ years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- BBQ experience is an advantage

**Other required skills**:

- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address issues as they arise, adapt to changing circumstances, and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Attention to detail to maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and sanitation.
- Strong time management skills to optimize kitchen efficiency, meet service deadlines, and minimize wait times for customers.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction by ensuring that food is prepared and served according to customer preferences, dietary requirements, and company standards.

Pay: AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- UAE: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen supervisor: 2 years (preferred)
