**Job Summary**:
The key objective of this role is to establish the sales strategies to achieve sales targets. Develop the Retail, Corporate, Outbound Holidays, Inbound Tours (FIT & Groups), MICE, and web business. Overseeing the operations of above segments & ensuring profitability by increasing the market share and revenue. Monitor staff performance. Implement policy of the company. Ensuring Retail presence is enhanced thru proper branding and customer service.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Create and implement growth strategies, together with the Sales team, to determine the direction and development of the business.
- Implement a business plan to achieve margins for Retail, Holidays (Outbound & Inbound plus MICE / Groups) & B2B segments.
- Grow the B2B business by ensuring efficient connectivity, special offers, and competitive fares (negotiation).
- Maintain good relationship with principals/ supplier and ensure their requirement are met as per agreements and drives sales to achieve year on year growth within the territory.
- Conduct market research and propose potential trade alliance and principals /supplier representations.
- Have strong relationships with suppliers to enhance the business.
- Maintain professional relationships with all clients by understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities and continuously update customer records.
- Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization.
- Organize Roadshows to promote the products and services.
- Develop inbound business by ensuring participation in Trade Events (WTM, ATM, ITB, etc.)
- Oversee the Holidays (inbound and outbound) business and promote effectively to all channels and increase the market share.
- OB Holidays: Supervising product team to design holiday packages and fixed departures.
- IB Tours: Identify and develop potential overseas markets for IB Tours to secure new business and nurture existing business.
- Ensure regular flyers/campaigns are carried out for Holidays and specials.
- Work with the CRM Team to help improve sales.
- Guide/Step in to resolve customer issues.
- Assist & train the team in handling VIP clients.
- Prepare various sales reports, analyze sales figures, and develop improvements.
- Setting directive strategies and developing sales targets for the department on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.
- Examine growth opportunities enabling sales improvements, setting budgets, studying marketing trends, and defining expected sales forecasts.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for assigned territories and projecting expected sales volume and profile for existing new products.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the Sales Team.
- Coordinate & lead all sales meetings.
- Ensure community engagement for increasing sales & market share.
- Ensuring retail offices are as per the company brand standards.
- Responsible to follow company credit policies and ensure profitability in line with set targets.
- Other common reasonable functions of a managerial position.
Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
**Experience**:
- Head of Sales in Travel & Tours: 5 years (required)
License/Certification:
- UAE Driving License (required)
