Plan, organize and assign work to team of fabricators after receiving the briefs from Production Coordinator/Manager.
- Assign targets to fabricators and ensure that they consistently achieve the same by strict supervision.
- Demonstrate competence in finishing and re-finishing works.
- As required welds together metal components of products as specified by Prod Coordinator/Production Manager. Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line.
- Maintaining length of arc as well as speed of movement to form specified depth of design head from color of metal, sound of weld, and also size of molten puddle.
- Cut metals plates or structural shapes. Repair broken or cracked parts fill hole.
- Assist with day to day production activities at the workshop.
- Assist with planning of production on obtaining working drawings from design.
- Interprets drawing and share the knowledge with the team.
- Motivates and trains the fabricator teams to achieve their set targets and increase productivity.
- Assist the production team with installation of Exhibition stands etc.
- Operate different tools, and and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- May set up and operate machine tools associated with fabricating shops, such as radial drill press, end mill, and edge planer.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
- Operate fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and flame cutters.
- Report errors in product line.
- Suggest ways to improve the quality and quantity of work.
- Closely follow instructions given by the Production Coordinators/Production Manager and operation department.
- Assist the other teams like carpentry, acrylic, VM, installation etc. as and when required and learn the task to develop into an all-rounder.
- Work in shifts and group companies as assigned by the management.
- Acquire skills and understanding of print and production processes and develop into multi tasker.
- Ensure that the fabricators keep the working area clean and follow all safety instruction and practices as set by the company and governmental authorities.
- Ensures that the team maintains good conduct and behavior and adheres to company’s policies and procedures.
- Be a ‘’Role Model’’ to the team by always following safety practices and adhering to rules and regulations of the company.
- Cooperate with different teams within the organization to achieve the targets given.
- Adherence to company’s standards, policies and rules and regulations.

Carry out any other additional task as assigned by the management.
- ITI/Secondary Education
- 1 to 4 yrs of experience as a metal fabricator with at least 2 yrs in managing a team of people.
- Ability to manage a team of fabricators and achieve the targets as assigned by the supervisor.

**Salary**: AED1,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
