**Job Brief**:
The HR Officer/Assistant is responsible to support the HR Manager with key areas of the function and be responsible for the preparation and delivery of tasks or objectives in line with the wider HR & Development Strategy. This post will have a particular focus on recruitment ensuring the organization employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience, training & development opportunities are available to employees to enhance their performance and achieve the employer's business goals.
HR Assistant responsibilities include creating referral programs, updating HR policies and overseeing our hiring processes. To be successful in this role, you should have an extensive background in Human Resources departments and thorough knowledge of labor legislation.
Ultimately, you will make strategic decisions for our company so that we hire, develop and retain qualified employees.
**HR Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
- Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
- Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met

- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
- Support other functions as assigned
**Job specification & Requirements**
- Proven experience with a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities with proven experience in the UAE.
- Knowledge of human resources processes andbest practices
- Degree in business administration, HR or relative field
- Proficient in MS Office and “back-office” software (e.g. ERP)
- Excellent English written and oral skills, and ability to communicate clearly and articulately, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to gain credibility quickly and to cultivate good relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to work within a dispersed In depth knowledge of office management and basic accounting procedures as well as technical vocabulary of relevant industry
- Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Integrity and confidentiality
