**Job Summary**

Rock Petroleum is seeking a forward-thinking and results-oriented **Business Development Manager** to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to identify, assess, and develop growth opportunities that align with our long-term business objectives. **Key Responsibilities**

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

- **Lead Strategic Initiatives**: Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to drive growth and competitive advantage.
- **Strategic Planning**: Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and execute business development strategies that align with the company’s vision and long-term goals.
- **Market Intelligence**: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to anticipate trends, identify emerging opportunities, and optimize strategic positioning.
- **Value Proposition Creation**: Develop compelling value propositions and strategic business cases to pitch to prospective clients and partners.
- **Partnership Management**: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry leaders, and potential partners to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- **Deal Structuring & Negotiation**: Lead negotiations for high-impact partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic investments that support business growth and profitability.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with product, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives.
- **Performance Tracking**: Monitor, measure, and report on the performance of business development initiatives and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- **Thought Leadership**: Represent Rock Petroleum at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to promote our strategic interests and strengthen our industry presence.
- **Innovation & Growth**: Drive innovation by identifying new business models and expansion opportunities that support the diversification and sustainability of the organization.

**Qualifications and Experience**

To excel in this role, you should have:

- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or a related role, ideally within the energy or related industries.
- A proven track record in structuring and closing strategic deals that deliver significant business impact.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
