Finance Operations Manager

**Job Title: Finance Operations Manager**
**Financial Planning and Analysis**:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate the organization's performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial insights and analysis.
- Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Identify cost reduction initiatives and implement appropriate measures to enhance profitability.
**Accounting and Reporting**:
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors.
- Provide guidance on complex accounting issues and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
**Cash Flow Management**:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Develop and implement cash management strategies, including forecasting and cash flow projections.
- Optimize working capital by assessing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash flow efficiency and implement suitable cash management solutions.
**Tender Management**:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end tender process, including tender identification, preparation, submission, and negotiation.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential tender opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop winning tender responses.
- Review and prepare tender documents, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.
- Evaluate and analyze tender results, negotiate terms and conditions with clients, and secure contracts.
**Risk Management**:
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
- Monitor compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data security and integrity in financial operations and systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address operational risks and process improvements.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
- Identify training and development needs, and coordinate relevant training initiatives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CMA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial operations management, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Extensive experience in tender management, including identification, preparation, submission, and negotiation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
