Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager interested in further developing and driving the Consumer F&B portfolio. This position will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing account relationships as well as identifying and developing new business opportunities to support our growth objectives. This includes revenue & GM management, cross-team collaboration, and project management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain and Drive Sales and Gross Profit at defined accounts within the Sales Territory to achieve and exceed annual sales and profitability budgets.
- Ensure all financial and supply chain metrics are maintained and improved. (Including but not limited to inventory levels, trading terms, incentive schemes, lead times, risk management, etc.)
- Maintain a high degree of direct call frequency in order to build multi-level relationships and strong customer intimacy.
- Bring in Senior Management as required and map and articulate various decision matrices with the organization (both local and internationally as appropriate).
- Develop winning sales strategies and account plans aligned with the overall company plans and the major brands/categories needs of the customer. Identify and exploit new business opportunities including "disruptive" ideas and approaches which increases the pace of growth and profitability and builds competitive barriers to entry.
- Build internal support to the overall objectives of the major customers/territory and negotiate/ motivate and enroll internal THG personnel behind these strategies. Responsible for priority setting and acts as a facilitator between THG functions and as required.
- Responsible for the timely completion of all required reports, including but not limited to expense reports, quarterly reports, budgets, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts, new business models and investment decisions, etc.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ingredient/ Flavors sales within the Food and Beverage segment.
