**Company specialized in the International Luxury in Perfumes, Cosmetics and Healthcare sector is looking for a Head Accounting in Dubai.**

**Responsibilities**:
Manage the Accounting department.

Provides financial information to management by preparing reports.

Prepares and enters general journal entries in accordance to company policy and IFRS.

Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.

Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.

Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.

Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information.

Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports for direct and indirect tax filings.

Prepare periodic tax filings to local tax authorities.

Manage and maintain the company’s tax information and supporting documents.

Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to local authorities.

Control the proforma and invoices from the suppliers.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.

Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.

Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.

Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as Access, etc.

Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

**Salary**: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jebel Ali: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 10 years (preferred)
