We are seeking an experienced Tent Tailor to join our team in our leading desert safari camp. The Tent Tailor will be responsible for designing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality tents and other fabric structures used in our camp. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests by providing well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing tents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and Fabrication: Create new tents and fabric structures based on specific requirements, including measurements, materials, and design specifications.
- Repairs and Maintenance: Repair and maintain existing tents, ensuring they are free from damage, leaks, or any other issues that could affect guest comfort or safety.
- Customizations: Modify tents to meet unique specifications, such as adding windows, ventilation, or custom designs as required.
- Material Management: Select and manage appropriate materials for tent making, ensuring durability and suitability for the desert environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and durability, ensuring that all tents meet the highest standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the camp management team to ensure timely completion of tent setups, maintenance, and repairs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of fabrics, tools, and other materials required for tent making and repair.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines in the fabrication and repair of tents, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Tent Tailor or similar role, with expertise in fabric work and tent making.
- Strong knowledge of various fabrics, materials, and sewing techniques.
- Ability to work with heavy-duty sewing machines and other tailoring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy fabrics and large tent structures.
- Previous experience in a desert or outdoor environment is a plus.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
