- Live and share the IKEA values every day
- Preferably Commerce graduate with experience in audit
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in a finance or accounts role, IKEA experience preferred
- Strong experience in handlling all cash, cheques, money orders and any other financial tool
- Ability to highly developed understanding of retail operations
- Strong strategic planning, Analytical and tactical abilities
- Mathematical, Organisational and Customer Service Skills
- High level of accuracy
- Good financial and audit acumen
- Ability to build working relationships
- Ability to bring out the best in Co-workers and to motivate and develop the organisation
- Good English communication skills, Arabic speaker preferred
- Comfort with shifts
- Familiarity with computer use
- Proven leadership abilities and lead by example

**About the Role**
You are responsible to ensure the smooth functioning of daily large amounts of cash transactions.
Key Specific Accountabilities:
**Financial**
- In charge of all the cash transactions that takes place in the store.
- Make entries for all the transactions daily and balance the books at the end of the day.
- Make reports about the daily happenings in their department.
- Ensure money is available in case the superiors require for company transactions.
- Check the money requests with their superiors before sanctioning them.
- Report any discrepancies they find with the transactions.
- Make sure all the collections are made on time from the debtors of the company.
**People Management and Development**
- Train new assistants the company hires.
- Help the accountant of the company to maintain all the accounts.
