**Job Title: Coatings Production Manager**

A leading coatings manufacturer and supplier, dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers is hiring.

**Coatings Production Manager Job Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of coatings production, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Lead and manage a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
- Optimize production workflows, implement process improvements, and monitor key performance indicators to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and supply chain, to support new product introductions and process scale-up.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement production schedules, balancing customer demands, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze production data and implement strategies to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement, fostering a culture of operational excellence and identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Prepare production reports, analyze trends, and provide regular updates to senior management.

**Coatings Production Manager Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in coatings production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of coatings manufacturing processes, including formulation, mixing, filling, and packaging.
- Experience in managing a team of production personnel, with a focus on performance management and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols in the coatings industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the coatings industry.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
