**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for leading and executing multiple complex internal audit projects as per the Approved Internal Audit plan across the Group. This role will support the Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department in the development of vision and organizational plan for the Group Corporate Assurance Department. The Manager, Corporate Assurance will be responsible for all audit projects related to companies under the Automotive division or Services, which includes Corporate, Construction & Renewable Energy management, Financial Services and Technology Solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing audit plans that align with the Group’s overall strategy and goals. The role will need to ensure that the audit plans addresses key risks and control issues as per the Group Corporate Assurance Department methodology.
- Lead and conduct risk assessment and support the Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department in development of risk based internal audit plan.
- Lead internal audit assignments as per the internal audit plan by conducting planning, fieldwork and reporting activities in compliance with internal audit manual and professional auditing standards in order to provide management with insights into areas of risk that are not adequately controlled and identify opportunities for process and control improvements.
- Review, monitor and assess the work of internal audit staff and appraise their performance.
- Prepare working papers in accordance with internal audit manual and IA management system requirements, resolving all review comments on a timely basis and archiving of internal audit files.
- Prepare audit reports and other deliverables to be reviewed by the Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department.
- Communicate findings and recommendations and discuss them with auditees/process owners to achieve agreement and obtain corrective actions. Responsible for explaining complex issues in a clear and concise manner and ensure that stakeholders understand the impact of audit findings.
- Communicate the audit matters, emerging issues and engagement status to the attention of Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department.
- Carry out follow up reviews to assess the status of implementation of the management action plans and ensures the continuation of such follow up till satisfactory results are achieved.
- Undertake and lead special reviews and ad-hoc requests, based on assignment by the Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department.
- Support the Head of Group Corporate Assurance Department in developing periodic reports to be submitted to the Leadership Committee/ Audit Committee.
- Support the Head of Group Corporate Assurance in laying out yearly departmental plans.
- Identify opportunities to increase operating efficiencies as well as implementation of best practices and process improvements in the department operations without reducing the quality of service.
- Input into the improvement and enhancement of GCAD, including policies/procedures updates, audit methodologies and implementing audit tools.
- Responsible for leading and managing audit teams in conducting various types of audits (financial, operational, compliance, etc.) and ensuring that the audit is completed within the allotted time frame.
- Responsible for developing the skills and capabilities of audit staff. This includes providing training, and coaching to help them improve their audit skills and supporting their professional development
- Stay up to date with industry trends including regulations that may impact the audit process. Ensure that the audit function is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards
- Lead special projects such as developing new methodologies or implementing new tools and techniques

**Job Requirements**:
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant qualification.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Other professional certifications related to the Audit Industry such as CPA, CA, CFE, CISA, ACCA is a plus.
