The InterContinental® Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa comprises 351 keys, a health club, a spa, and two pools. Covering an area of 43,770 sqm, the resort is a short drive from famous archaeological sites such as Dhayah Fort and Sheba’s Palace. Set on a headland surrounded by protected coastal wetlands with lush landscaping fronting a sweeping beach on one side and a manmade waterway on the other, the guest rooms, suites, and chalets offer panoramic water views.
**Your day to day**
As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safety and security of all guests, colleagues and contractors, and visitors while at the hotel. A Security Supervisor is also responsible for the safety and security of the hotel premises and the oversight of the Security Team

Some of your responsibilities includes:

- Supervise 3rd party security guards, makes duty rosters, and ensure they are trained on hotel & company values, True Hospitality, and other related LSOPs.
- Assign duties as per the instructions from Director of Risk
- Coordinate, check, and monitor with the local police, CID whenever required
- Does a regular round to check the property on a daily basis for any damage or any incidents
- Guards entrance and exits and submit reports to the Security Manager daily
- Monitors designated areas on the closed CCTV
- Investigates any guests or staff complaints & accidents.
- Issues incident reports with all data & outcomes
- Supervises staff arrival and departure procedures, take the necessary action if required
- Decides with Director of Risk / Duty Manager to call Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade
- Assist Director of Risk in gradually Fire Drills arrangement & outcome
- Coordinate with other departments to implement safety and security procedures
- Perform all tasks consistently in line with the hotel standards and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements
- Ensure constant vigilance of hotel operations and premises
- Maintain all documents and key systems to legal and Company requirements
- Recommend improvements in surveillance, security, and fire systems

**What we need from you**
You should ideally be a certified Security Professional with previous experiences preferably with a hotel security or a similar security branch background. Additional certifications like CPR, First Aid, BHV or the use of AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) are a definite plus. A good command of English in both written and spoken and to follow safety and security rules and procedures without compromises at all times are essential.
