Position Overview

**Qualifications and Requirements**

**Language Proficiency**
- Fluent in Arabic with a high level of competency in all language skills.
- Strong English language skills.

**Educational Background**
- Possess a relevant degree in Islamic Studies.
- Hold a teaching qualification for KHDA approval.

**Teaching Experience**:

- Minimum of five years of teaching experience.
- Proven excellence in teaching Islamic Education, with a track record in either the UK or an international setting.

**Leadership Skills**
- Recent leadership experience in Islamic Education, showcasing a measurable impact.
- Have made a record of progress during Inspection in students’ progress and attainment.

**Commitment**
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting the development of Islamic Education in alignment with the whole school strategy.

**Communication**:

- Possess exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.

**Values**:

- Exhibit a strong commitment to the Hartland Values, as outlined on our website.

Located in the heart of Dubai in a developing residential community, Hartland’s unique vantage point is the iconic landmark of the Burj Khalifa and the downtown business and financial area of the city. Hartland International School is in its seventh year of operation and is already an established name on the educational landscape of Dubai.

We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage programme, followed by the National Curriculum for England across primary and Key Stage 3, with a full and wide range of GCSEs and A Levels in the upper secondary. The school is an accredited COBIS member, has received The Challenge Award from NACE and is a member of BSME.
