E.ON´s subsidiary aims to deliver high integrity carbon credits at a price and volume that hard-to-abate sector with inherent large emissions volume can leverage as one of the decarbonization lever for their net-zero journeys.

As part of the launch of this project, Morgan Philips Executive Search is the exclusive partner of E.ON SE in driving all stages of the process related to the setup of the organization in the United Arab Emirates.

Morgan Philips Executive Search, the Headhunting Company, is assisting E.ON in the recruitment of a Business Developer with strong expertise and understanding of the international carbon market. The objective is to ensure the acquisition of new customers, the development of a profitable customer portfolio and to ensure E.ON's presence in the market. Close to the clients, She/He aims to support them in reaching the success of their project.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Build a profitable customer portfolio and support your clients in implementing a successful carbon credit strategy

Originate, structure and execute bilateral deals for various classes of Carbon commodities throughout global markets.

Establish, manage and grow relationships within the EU market as well as new market participants.

Keep an active overview of all the trends in the market to maximize the profits through business development.

Define and deploy a strategic roadmap to ensure the creation of a strong customer base.

Implement a farming strategy to ensure the development of the relationship with clients in order to increase the visibility and impact of the company.

Ensure regular and active monitoring of the market developments, regulation and sector trends.

Act as a company’s key representative in all the networking events.

Key Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor's degree in business, Economics or Finance preferred.

+5 years of experience in trading, business development, sales and or account management.

Strong understanding of the European market.

Experience in trading carbon and/or green certificates (GOO’s, I-REC’s, ROCs, Carbon Offsets, Carbon Allowances, etc.) Good understanding of compliance and regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong analytical perspective.

Strong sales competencies, results-orientation, versatility, and an entrepreneurial attitude.

Fluent in English, any extra languages are an advantage.
