Academic Program Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Collaboration with Tech and Academic Teams**:
- Draft and monitor the processes established between the tech platform team and the academic team.
- Conduct meetings with thesis supervisors to understand student challenges and collaborate with the tech team to devise solutions.
- Draft and implement academic rules and program guidelines.
**2. Recruitment and Student Selection**:
- Conduct a selection interview via video conference and then draft an interview summary emphasizing four key elements:
- d)The quality of their research project
**3. Involvement in Program Content and its Development**:
- Design programs and programs evolution
- Review and approve the syllabus for each course, and compile the program's educational booklet.
- Watch the video lectures for each course and collaborate with the instructor for any necessary corrections.
- Attend the program's steering committee meeting once a year, in partnership with the main stakeholder, to discuss program developments and modifications.
**4. Educational Monitoring of the Program**:
- Assign each student a thesis or dissertation advisor and ensure, via the platform, that the 5 annual meetings between the student and advisor take place (with meeting summaries provided on the platform).
- Ensure DBA students achieve a satisfactory level through individual meetings conducted yearly.
- Attend the initial meeting between the academic director, thesis/dissertation advisor, reference researcher, and the student.
- Monitor and verify the course progress and completion status of students.
- Provide an introductory presentation about the platform and its operations.
- Participate in the oral defense of the thesis or dissertation, post-approval from the respective advisor.
**5. Participation with Partner in the Diploma Awarding Committee**:
- Ensure all student files are complete, including the selection committee's report, meeting summaries with the thesis/dissertation advisor, written thesis or dissertation, oral defense report, and validation of all credit-awarding courses.
- Present all the completedd files to the partners, for diploma approval.
**6. Participation in Program Promotion**:
- Collaborate with the partner and the Doctoral School of Business to produce promotional materials for the program, such as brochures and introductory videos.
- Participate in monthly webinars and conferences that present the institution and the program to potential students or stakeholders.
**7. Recruitment of Academic Personnel**:
- Actively recruit Thesis Directors and Referent Researchers to ensure the program's academic quality and support for students.
**Qualifications and Skills Required**:
- Ø Ph.D. in a field related to MSI, Laptops, Digital Technologies, or similar.
- Ø Should have recently earned the doctorate.
- Ø Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ø Familiarity with academic program management and course development.
- Ø Some basics in French is a valuer
**Additional Benefits**:
Performance-based bonus calculated based on the number of students recruited

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
