We are looking for a Commercial Manager - Maritime Logistics (NVOCC) to join our company.
In Wilhelmsen Port Services, we provide our customers with piece of mind while we handle their cargo, their vessels and their crew. We handle 75,000 port calls per year, which means that every 7 minutes, anywhere around the world, we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfil its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards, making sure we consistently make our customers’ port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
The Commercial Manager - Maritime Logistics (NVOCC) will report to the Ships Agency Territory Manager.
About the position:
Commercial functionality for Wilhelmsen Port Services NVOCC business.
What will you do:
- Management & control of the global NVOCC customer base within the Wilhelmsen Port Services Network.-
- Enhance relationship with existing Principles, develop new NVOCC agencies and improve volume & revenue in each location.-
- Coordination with Wilhelmsen Ships Agency managers around the globe in order to continue NVOCC growth in new locations.-
- Prepare & manage Agency agreements of NVOCC principles.-
- Analysis of market trends and detailed business plan in order to achieve Global Budget.Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in Complete Containers / LCL / Project handling, customer service and project documentation. (AIR / SEA)- Logistics & shipping Knowledge.- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.- Familiar with Local Port Authority regulations, procedures and governing tariffs.- Ability to multitask and organise under pressure without compromising safety of personnel and vessel.- Good communication skills and command of the English language (oral and written)- Strong mentoring and customer relationship skills.- Self-motivated and result orientated.- Good cost awareness and control.- Computer literate.
