Holiday Inn is the first of its brand in Abu Dhabi featuring 203 modern and stylish rooms, wide variety of food & beverage outlets - Indulge in a variety of International flavors at the Silk Route Café. For a lively night out, hit the Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge with amazing views of the Abu Dhabi skyline or visit Hubbly Bubbly, our shisha café for a traditional Arabic experience under the stars. For Sushi lovers, SushiSan offers the sushi as it should be. Stock Burger Co. is a new casual dining concept defined by a perfect and always appealing pairing: premium burgers and craft brew, and all in addition to meeting rooms and banqueting facilities.
The hotel is a kilometer away from Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), very close to the diplomatic enclave. The hotel's fitness facilities are located at the top floor, and offer great views of the city. Besides a well equipped fitness room, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi offers a pool and three massage rooms.
**Your day to day**
We are currently seeking to hire a **Steward** to join Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi
As a member of our Stewarding team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchens, in addition to a maintaining a constant supply of equipment and clean utensils for our food and beverage outlets. You’ll also undertake general kitchen duties such as collecting all rubbish, maintaining the cleanliness of bins and the rubbish room and undertaking other additional cleaning tasks and schedules. This role will require you to carry, lift and push items such as plates, trolleys, garbage bins as well as handling food products, utensils, chemicals and cleaning detergents. You'll be a confident person who is motivated and deadline driven in order to support the food and beverage operation, whilst maintaining a high standard of hygienic standards and practices.
**What we need from you**
Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar role in a kitchen environment and take a real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen with exposure to a hotel environment a plus. You’ll also have the ability to work autonomously and as a team alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the role.
