Purpose:
To ensure all Food and Beverage outlets operate successfully and are profitable as per budgetary guidelines. To ensure that the standard operating procedures and hygiene standards are maintained within the guidelines set.

Communication:
Internal
- Communicates effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues at Motiongate Dubai Parks and Dubai Parks and Resorts through face to face communication.

External
- Communicates effectively and work collaboratively with various external vendors and clients through face to face communication when requested by the management team.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all external guests visiting Motiongate Dubai Parks using face to face communication.

Main Duties:

- To maintain all standard operational procedures in order to provide uniformity in delivery of food and beverage products and services to the guest.
- To ensure that all procedures, polices and regulations are followed in the department in order to provide a safe and fair work environment.
- To check on daily Food and Beverage operation reports, food safety and hygiene reports in order to be updated on the daily events in the department.
- To set SMART objectives in the Department Performance Plan in order to achieve the set objectives.
- To communicate new or amended procedures within the department in order to keep the outlets updated with changes.
- To maintain all standard operational procedures in order to provide uniformity in delivery of food and beverage products and services to the guest.
- To ensure that all procedures, polices and regulations are followed in the department in order to provide a safe and fair work environment.
- To check on daily Food and Beverage operation reports, food safety and hygiene reports in order to be updated on the daily events in the department.
- To set SMART objectives in the Department Performance Plan in order to achieve the set objectives.
- To communicate new or amended procedures within the department in order to keep the outlets updated with changes.
- To conduct performance appraisals for Outlet Managers in order to provide on the job performance feedback identify development needs and carrier progression.
- To conduct meetings with the Managers and Team Leaders on a weekly basis in order to communicate important information, plan and follow up on jobs and responsibilities.
- To participate in annual budgetary planning and annual business plans in order to provide vital information and for budgeting and marketing purposes.
- To ensure that the department is in line with budgetary guidelines set by the Finance department in order to achieve the targeted profit margins and take corrective steps to control over expenditure.
- To represent the Food & Beverage Department at monthly Food and Beverage Group Meetings with other Theme Parks.
- To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require
- Provide financial input to the Head of Food and Beverage for budget purposes and involve in yearly budgets.
- Do yearly financial budgets for the Food and Beverage Operations.
- Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department/ divisional/ project’s financial performance.
- Plan and execute CAPEX projects
- Follow Company wardrobe and grooming guidelines at all times
- Adhere to Company policies and procedures with regards to behaviour, performance and conduct whilst at work and when using Company accommodation and other provided facilities

Health and Safety Duties:

- Exercise the “duty of care”, i.e., the moral and legal obligation to protect the guests, staffs, contractors, vendors, suppliers and all other persons within our care from harm or loss when they are exposed to our activities or using our services, with watchfulness, attention, caution and prudence that a reasonable person in all circumstances would.
- Provide, as far as reasonably practicable, the highest level of protection, against harm or loss from hazards and risks to the health, safety and welfare, of oneself and of the persons working under own’s authority.
- Practice due diligence through assessment and review such that all risks and hazards are controlled and maintained to acceptable level in any modification, introduction of new process, machine and/or even engaging new persons in the business to ensure that all aspects and considerations are sufficiently looked into prior to implementation or engagement.
- Commit to safe systems of work by adhering to agreed processes that are put in place, which can include, but not limited to those in the approved manuals, policies, procedures and SOPS and thus it shall be everyone’s responsibility to know and understand thoroughly these systems and processes, execute properly and avoid short cuts.
