Procurement Manager

**Job Summary**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement and purchasing strategies and policies that meet the company's requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Identify the procurement and purchasing requirements for all construction projects and ensure that all activities are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Manage the procurement and purchasing process for materials and subcontractors, including the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts.
- Work with project managers to identify suppliers and subcontractors that meet the company's requirements for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that the company's procurement and purchasing needs are met.
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance, and take corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure that all procurement and purchasing activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain procurement and purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
- Work with the commercial team to manage procurement and purchasing budgets, ensuring that all activities are carried out within budget.
- Manage the procurement and purchasing team, ensuring that all team members are trained and developed to meet the company's requirements.

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement and purchasing, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Knowledge of procurement and purchasing regulations and standards in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of procurement and purchasing software, as well as project management software.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
