**The Role of the Vice Principal**

As Vice Principal, you will support the school’s strategic vision and operational success. This includes:

- Overseeing data management to monitor and improve student performance.
- Leading the school’s pastoral care programme to ensure the well-being of all students.
- Supporting and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Collaborating with the Principal to implement school policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Overseeing staff development, including training, performance management, and professional growth initiatives.
- Working closely with parents and the wider school community to foster strong partnerships and engagement.
- Monitoring and evaluating curriculum implementation to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
- Leading and managing school-wide initiatives that promote student achievement and well-being.
- Ensuring the school maintains its high standards in alignment with ADEK requirements and school improvement plans.
- Being responsible for the overall operations of the school, ensuring efficient day-to-day management and resource allocation.
- Leading on safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of all students, and maintaining compliance with child protection regulations.
- Assisting the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) with additional duties and responsibilities as required.

- A deep understanding of safeguarding policies and practices, ensuring the highest standards of child protection.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**To be considered, you must have**:

- A degree and a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent) and at least 8 years in education leadership, with 3 years of teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience with UK education standards and frameworks.
- The ability to effectively lead within a diverse and multicultural school community.
