**JOB SUMMARY**
The Primary School Counsellor will be working to promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by delivering therapeutic support at the individual and group level; facilitate the implementation of a Positive Education Curriculum and liaise with parents and the wider community to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing initiatives; and support and execute staff wellbeing events across the primary school.

**REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE**:
- Native-level English language skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, social work or counselling from a reputable university
- A post-graduate qualification in counselling, Psychotherapy or Play Therapy is preferred
- A minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience working in school counselling or a similar role with children and families
- Experience supporting Primary School students with behavioural, social and emotional needs.
- Experience working collaboratively with teachers and parents
