**Aircraft Line/Base Maintenance Planner**
Skyexec Aviation is currently looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Planner with a minimum of 3 years of planning experience with relevant engineering or technical qualifications.
To be an effective aircraft maintenance planner requires you to have clear communication skills as well as a sound knowledge of maintenance practices (ideally you have spent some years hands-on in an aircraft maintenance environment). You will be familiar with workflow processes; Have a strong level of IT competency and will be focused on delivering high-quality work to a deadline.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing scheduled maintenance forecasts based on analysis of airline schedules and maintenance operations.
- Finalizing overnight routine maintenance work packages and verifying tools and materials available for routine overnight visit maintenance plans.
- Managing all maintenance planning and maintenance control coordination activities, including AOG and out-of-service airplane maintenance events/ activities.
- Tracking and validating maintenance delays and cancellations based on airline maintenance operations root-cause analysis.
- Planning, managing, preparing, and issuing all maintenance work packages for line and base maintenance activities, based on airline operations, aircraft time available, the complexity of work, and availability of required resources such as facilities, tooling, materials, and manpower.
- Coordinating plans for maintenance work packages with the fleet management vendor to ensure successful completion.
- Managing global line maintenance plans when airplane schedules change due to disruptions.
- Verifying all assigned tasks are completed/deferred prior to aircraft dispatch.
- Ensuring that all managed work is in compliance with standards, policies, and procedures system-wide.
- Scheduling maintenance activities based on the required aircraft operational usage to minimize costs and ensure efficiency.
- Lead daily conference call for maintenance planning briefing with maintenance providers, maintenance control, and/or airline operations center (AOC).
- Monitoring and coordinating with the maintenance provider on deferred (MEL/CDL) and unscheduled maintenance items and coordinating with the operators on their requirements on disruption recovery and management of maintenance deferrals.
- Supporting operator’s and maintenance providers' issues by facilitating communications with the appropriate specialists and support organizations.
- Providing resource management and determining personnel requirements for various areas of responsibility.
- Coordinating with the material management team to assure that the parts supply is compatible with the work packages provided.
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years of planning experience with relevant engineering or technical qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior Airline and/or MRO-related experience, with good knowledge and understanding of commercial airline maintenance planning, forecasting, and packaging.
