**Aircraft Maintenance Controller**

Skyexec Aviation is looking to hire an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Controller to help us perform inspections, forecast, record, and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft at in-station and an outstation location to ensure a timely return to service. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Recording and Reporting Technical Delays. Identifying the Root Cause of Technical Delays and making recommendations to the Head of Maintenance to reduce the possibility of further delays of the same nature occurring.
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, control, and influence a multi-functional organization for Maintenance Control to ensure activities are accomplished in accordance with company policies, FARs, company and OEM Maintenance Programs, and other governmental regulations.
- Arranges for unscheduled maintenance to be completed.
- Informs all departments affected by an out-of-service aircraft.
- Reports current fleet status and maintenance activities to the Head of Maintenance on a regular basis.
- Coordinates maintenance operational issues: AOGs (aircraft on ground), delays, mechanical interruptions, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with maintenance and flight operation departments.
- Coordinate and administer timely ordering and shipment of aircraft parts and equipment to support out-of-service aircraft.
- Evaluates reported aircraft discrepancies and develop appropriate repair or recovery plans.
- Assists in determining the parts, equipment, manuals, and materials required to perform scheduled maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Coordinates maintenance production planning and parts procurement for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Has authority to remove any aircraft from operational service for reasons of safety or issues with the maintenance program.
- Monitor aircraft status, taking appropriate action when maintenance problems arise or when it is anticipated that daily operations will be affected.
- Audits completed work orders to ensure compliance with assigned tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- At Least one-year experience as a Maintenance Controller is preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a position responsible for troubleshooting and returning company aircraft to service.
- Capability to initiate corrective action regarding aircraft maintenance issues.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.

**Experience**:
