**Job Purpose**

Primarily to analyse financial data and provide valuable insights and recommendations to assist in making informed business decisions along with assisting in accounting and taxation aspects including returns and compliance.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to guide future planning and resource allocation.
- Variance Analysis: Investigating and explaining discrepancies between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
- Cost Analysis: Examining and evaluating the costs of various business activities and recommending cost-saving measures.
- Financial Modelling: Developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
- Performance Evaluation: Assessing the financial performance of different business units or projects to determine their profitability and viability.
- Risk Management: Identifying financial risks and proposing strategies to mitigate them.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring financial practices and reports adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Business Support: Collaborating with various departments and providing financial insights to support their decision-making processes.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Vendor Payments and Periodic management of various contracts (timely updation, follow ups etc)
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Financial Accounting and Process Management
- Periodic reporting as per Regulatory or audit requirements
- Be responsible for the recording and reporting of the information in the company’s accounting system ensuring accuracy Strive to be ahead on all reporting and compliance timelines.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- Should have a professional Degree in Accounting like Chartered Accountant (ICAI/ACCA/CMA).
- Should have at least 2 year work experience in Financial Services Industry (Banking/Lending).
- Articulate in communication, specially working documents.
- Problem solving skills and good at reconciliations. Prior experience in DFSA and other regulated organisation will be added advantage
