Credit Administration Manager

The Credit Administration Manager will oversee and manage all post-approval credit administration activities for SME and Retail segments. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, Islamic finance principles, and regulatory requirements while maintaining high-quality standards in documentation, security management, and credit monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation Review and Verification- Review and verify the completeness and accuracy of facility documentation prior to facility disbursement, such documents include KYC & KYB documents, Credit approval conditions, Facility offer letters, Murabaha agreements, security documents such as guarantees, security cheques, promissory notes, etc.
- Ability to manually prepare the above documents in the absence of the Finance originating system.
- Ensure all documents adhere to the bank's standards and regulatory requirements.
- Initiate call verification & field visit verification with retail & SME customers.
- Process disbursements for SME and Retail credit facilities, ensuring that all conditions precedent are met.
- Set up and manage credit limits for SME customers.
- Ensure collaterals registration with the relevant authority as needed.
- Monitor client compliance with facility terms, including timely repayments, utilization limits, and conditions specified in approval letters.
- Maintain an updated repository of all security documents in a secure and organized manner.
- Ensure timely renewal and validation of securities, guarantees, and insurance policies associated with facilities.
- Monitor facilities for compliance with collateral requirements and notify stakeholders of any discrepancies.
- Conduct call verifications to validate customer employment details prior to facility disbursement.
- Monitor salary accounts for regular salary transfers and flag inconsistencies for immediate review.
- Update and maintain correct risk grading for all clients, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal frameworks.
- Update the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) risk bureau for all facilities.
- Coordinate with Credit Underwriting, Risk, Shari'ah, and Legal departments to resolve documentation or compliance issues.
- Support the Business team in responding to client queries related to documentation or security requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of credit reports, risk assessments, and portfolio analysis.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing credit administration workflows, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Propose and implement process enhancements to improve turnaround time and reduce manual interventions.
- Explore AI/ML based solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.
- Oversee facility closures and release of securities.
- Process approved after sales transactions such as deferments, partial settlements, full settlements, issuing of liability & no liability letters.
- Monitor delinquent accounts and identify high-risk customers.
- Contact delinquent customers to arrange payment plans or settlements.
- Work closely with Risk, Credit, and Legal teams to manage high-risk cases.
