Job Description – Sr. Team Leader (Telecom SMB HuntingBusiness)

Job Summary:

The Sr. Team Leader – TelecomSMB Hunting Business is a sales leader of professionals whose primary job is toacquire new Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients. The role includes drivingrevenues, developing business strategies, and managing team performance towardsmeeting ambitious revenue targets.

Major Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

Manage a team of Senior Sales Executives & SalesExecutive to acquire new SMB customers of telecom services and products.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenueand growth targets.

Identify prospective business opportunities, developleads, and convert them into long-term customers.

Build solid relationships with key decision-makers in theSMB accounts.

Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, andnegotiations to close deals.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

Set clear objectives and performance targets for teammembers.

Provide coaching and ongoing performance feedback tomaximize sales effectiveness.

Monitor and analyze sales performance, taking remedialaction as required.

Market & Industry Analysis:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitoractivity, and market forces.

Develop strategies to place the company's offeringsdistinctively vis-a-vis competition.

Provide inputs and recommendations to the management teamfor product/service development.

Process & Operational Efficiency:

Follow company policies, pricing models, and salesprocedures.

Utilize CRM tools to track sales pipeline, customerinteractions, and performance indicators.

Collaborate with internal departments (marketing,product, and customer support) for efficient delivery of services.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish good rapport with SMB customers to developlong-term business relationship.

Address customer complaints and provide remedies toensure customers are satisfied.

Detect opportunities for cross-sale and upselling othertelecommunication services.

Marvelous leadership and human management skills.

Ability to drive B2B sales in telecom arena.

Irreproachable negotiating competence and excellentcommunication skills.

Ability to plan and execute business developmentstrategies.

Well-versed in CRM tools along with selling facts.

Good level of high energy, self-energy, and direction toresults.

Requirements

Education & Experience Background:

Bachelor/Master's degree in Business, Selling,Advertisement and marketing or similar field.

Selling telecommunication experience with min. 5 yearspossessing at least 2 years' experience of supervisory ability.

Desirable prior work experience in SMB sales/huntingbusiness.

Sufficient knowledge on telecom products, services, andmarket trends.
