Channel Sales Manager

Bidfood ME is one of the leading foodservice companies in the UAE and Middle East, looking for a Channel Sales Manager. The ideal candidate's primary function is to proactively and effectively lead the strategic and tactical initiatives of the UAE sales division for assigned channels, ensuring the achievement of sales, growth, Business Development objectives and effective execution of the group priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the primary goals, operating plans, short and long term business objectives for the team.
- Monitor performance and proactively propose actions required to meet the set objectives.
- Formulate monthly Accounts priorities and ensure proper execution by the sales team.
- Accountable for monitoring and effective management of spends as per the agreed budgets.
- Manage working capital through quality collaborative monthly sales forecasting process and effective day to day management.
- Foster strong commercial relationships with assigned Customers through frequent contact and periodic Business reviews.
- Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring and providing support. Always be accessible at to all categories of employees to build a cohesive team.
- Explore new business opportunities and direct it to the Management team.
- At least 2 years' experience managing a team of sales professionals
- Excellent knowledge of P&L, Margins and Forecast
- Great communication and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of the market, products and decision makers in the industry
- Excellent negotiation skills and previous experience in negotiating big contracts
- Excellent track records of leading a team, coaching and guiding
- Excellent track records of team conversion rate and deals closing
- Mature approach and well composed
