Performance Marketing Specialist (E-commerce)

The Performance Marketing Specialist is integral to driving online revenue and expanding customer acquisition efforts through effective, data-driven marketing strategies. This role is centred around executing and refining paid media campaigns across search engines, social platforms, and display networks, with a strong focus on maximizing ROAS and optimizing performance metrics.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage paid media campaigns across digital platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Continuously refine campaigns to improve key metrics, such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Design and execute remarketing strategies aimed at re-engaging past site visitors and boosting conversion rates.
  • Partner with the e-commerce and content teams to ensure campaigns align with promotional schedules, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.

SEM & SEO Integration

  • Lead the optimization of Google Ads campaigns, covering Shopping Ads, Search, Display, and YouTube.
  • Conduct keyword analysis and refine bidding strategies to improve ad performance.
  • Work alongside SEO teams to align paid media with organic search efforts for maximum visibility.

Social Media Advertising

  • Oversee and optimize paid campaigns on social platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest.
  • Develop advanced audience segmentation techniques, such as custom, lookalike, and demographic targeting.
  • Execute A/B testing on creatives, copy, and landing pages to improve engagement and increase conversions.

Performance Tracking & Campaign Enhancement

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including site traffic, conversions, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
  • Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager to analyze performance and optimize accordingly.
  • Lead data-driven A/B tests to improve ads, landing pages, and conversion funnels.

Conversion Optimization

  • Identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance e-commerce conversion rates across digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX and web development teams to optimize landing pages and minimize bounce rates.

Budget Management & ROI Maximization

  • Effectively allocate and manage media budgets to ensure maximum ROAS.
  • Regularly review and adjust spend across campaigns to enhance cost-efficiency and overall performance.
  • Work closely with e-commerce, content, and creative teams to maintain brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
  • Engage with external partners, agencies, and influencers when needed to achieve campaign goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in performance marketing, ideally within an e-commerce context.
  • Proven expertise in managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

Technical Skills

  • Comfortable using e-commerce analytics and tracking tools like Google Data Studio, Shopify Analytics, or Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of SEO and its impact on paid media strategies.
  • Exposure to affiliate marketing, influencer collaborations, and third-party marketplaces (Amazon, Noon, etc.).
