As a Senior Associate, you'll dive into planning, directing, completing audits, reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting services while supervising junior colleagues. About the External Audit Service Line

Where precision meets passion Our Audit and Assurance services cater to a diverse range of companies, ensuring financial clarity and confidence at every turn. Our clientele spans diverse industries and all sizes from SMEs to International Groups and listed companies. We are very proud to be market leaders in multiple areas including Financial Services and PCAOB engagements; as well as having led the first Middle East unicorn listing on NASDAQ.

As a Senior Associate some of your responsibilities will include:

  1. Running client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, directing and reporting
  2. Preparing or reviewing work papers and drafts of the financial statements
  3. Producing client deliverables, specifically drafting reports for management review
  4. Taking part in audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and devise an appropriate audit strategy
  5. Supervising, training, and mentoring associates and interns on audit process
  6. Utilizing artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and data visualizations
  7. Proactively engaging with clients while offering strategic recommendations for improvement
  8. Staying acquainted with industry trends through regular professional development activities

  1. 3-4 years of External Audit experience in a top international firm
  2. Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CPA)
  3. Have experience of working on complex audits and delegating workloads accordingly
  4. Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft Office
  5. Strong technical accounting skills, confident in IFRS
  6. Experience with group audits is key to success
  7. Ability to supervise staff and lead projects
  8. Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed
