Job Description: MEAREGIONAL MANAGER GLOBALINTERNATIONAL MOBILITYCENTER
The MEA Regional Manager is in charge of managing mobility ofSchneider Electric employees for the region (inbound and outbound).
The MEARegional Manager has accountability for the operational managementand coordination of the assignment process from starttofinish(standard and complex cases) and to act as an expert consultant tothe region. This role reports to the Global International MobilityCenter VP and works closely with the other Regional Managers(Europe APAC and Americas).
The MEARegional Manager is supported by 2 team members and is expected toprovide a superior customer service according to the Service LevelAgreement and the International Mobility policies.
This rolerequires broad HR experience and a background/ proven track recordin managing international mobility as well as an extensivetechnical knowledge of HR issues such as compensation &benefits implementation of processes required in differentcountries of the MEA region and deep understanding of mobilityexternal market practices in the region.
The MEARegional Manager must be results and customer service oriented andhave the ability to work in close collaboration with the broaderGlobal International Mobility team Global Executive Rewards team aswell as Regional stakeholders.
The main responsibilitiesare:
Stakeholder management and advisory:
  • Cultivate relationships with HRBusiness Partner Shared Services and Finance teams to increaseunderstanding of the existing mobility policies by consulting andcommunicating programs clearly andconcisely.
  • Propose enhancements ofInternational Mobility policies to meet business needs and supportgrowth through talent mobility in theregion.
  • Monitor external trends and regulatorychanges that impact assignments and anticipate and adapt SEapproach accordingly.
LeadOperations:
  • Manage daytodayoperations with the team during the whole assignment cycleincluding immigration relocation social security mobility benefitspayroll and tax etc. to ensure the services run smoothly andefficiently.
  • Validate compensation worksheetassignment contract exceptions approval reward campaigns etc. toensure adherence to corporate compliance legal and local/globalregulatory standards.
  • Work with home/hostfinance and accounting to provide total cost view of assignees andtimely payment of vendors.
Deliverexcellent assignee experience:
  • Supervise teams and vendors(relocation tax provider) customer service and measure throughdefined SLAs and KPIs to control operations end to end and deliverexcellent employee experience including toVIPs.
  • Actively partner with group security teamsupporting assignees and their families in theregion.
  • Prepare and conduct client reviewmeetings at country/region level.
  • Streamlineand simplify processes to achieve continuous improvementtarget.
Team and projectmanagement:
  • Lead and mentor MEAMobility team to commit to their competencies and careerdevelopment
  • Contribute to and lead Mobilityteamprojects.

Required Skills andExperience:
  • Proveninfluencing problemsolving and advisoryskills.
  • Experience leading and being part of amulticultural team.
  • At least 8 years ofexperience in Global Mobility.
  • Strong mobilityexperience in Middle East and Africamarkets
  • Strong technical expertise andqualifications in tax and legal aspects ofmobility.
  • Inhouse experience in managing globalmobility programs.
