Roles and responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring of stockmovement, running report of daily inventoryadjustment.
  • Providing stock reports on CategoryLevel for All Stores.
  • Guiding the stores onreceiving deliveries, returning PO and some operational issuesinvolving stocks.
  • Doing stock take/cycle countfor the running stores.
  • Invoice Matchingtogether with finance if there arediscrepancies.
  • Weekly reporting to GM with alltotal inventory adjustments, including the percentage of shrinkageagainst sales.
  • Spot checking and visitingstores for some investigation with inventorydiscrepancies.
  • Reporting system issues relatedto store operation activity affecting thestocks.
  • Monthly reconciliation withfinance.
  • Monthly reporting of inventoriesshowing turnovers.

  • Reviewing inventory reports to identifyslow-moving items or products with high turnoverrates.

4. Knowledge ofInventory ManagementSystems

  • Proficiency inusing inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP,Oracle, NetSuite) to track stock levels, manage orders, andgenerate reports.
  • Familiarity with barcodescanning systems, RFID, and other tools to track productsaccurately.

5.CommunicationSkills

  • Coordinatingwith other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, warehouse) toensure stock availability and efficient orderfulfillment.
  • Communicating with suppliers orvendors to place orders, track shipments, and resolve inventoryissues.
  • Reporting discrepancies or issues tomanagement and working together to findsolutions.

  • Addressinginventory discrepancies or shortages, figuring out causes, andimplementing solutions.
  • Managing situationsinvolving excess stock, slow-moving products, or product returnseffectively.

  • Managinginventory checks, reordering tasks, and updates within deadlines,especially during busy periods such as seasonal demandspikes.
  • Prioritizing tasks related to stockcounts, order fulfillment, and administrativeduties.
