Roles and responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring of stock movement, running report of daily inventory adjustment.
  • Providing stock reports on Category Level for All Stores.
  • Guiding the stores on receiving deliveries, returning PO and some operational issues involving stocks.
  • Doing stock take/cycle count for the running stores.
  • Invoice Matching together with finance if there are discrepancies.
  • Weekly reporting to GM with all total inventory adjustments, including the percentage of shrinkage against sales.
  • Spot checking and visiting stores for some investigation with inventory discrepancies.
  • Reporting system issues related to store operation activity affecting the stocks.
  • Monthly reconciliation with finance.
  • Monthly reporting of inventories showing turnovers.

  • Language skills: Fluent English and Arabic would be highly advantageous.

  • Effectively organizing inventory records, ensuring that products are stored properly and are easy to locate when needed.
  • Managing multiple tasks, such as tracking inventory, processing orders, and maintaining stock records, without missing important details.

3. Analytical Skills

  • Ability to analyze inventory trends, detect discrepancies, and forecast demand to make informed decisions about stock levels.
  • Reviewing inventory reports to identify slow-moving items or products with high turnover rates.

4. Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems

  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) to track stock levels, manage orders, and generate reports.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning systems, RFID, and other tools to track products accurately.

5. Communication Skills

  • Coordinating with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, warehouse) to ensure stock availability and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Communicating with suppliers or vendors to place orders, track shipments, and resolve inventory issues.
  • Reporting discrepancies or issues to management and working together to find solutions.

6. Problem-Solving Skills

  • Addressing inventory discrepancies or shortages, figuring out causes, and implementing solutions.
  • Managing situations involving excess stock, slow-moving products, or product returns effectively.

7. Time Management

  • Managing inventory checks, reordering tasks, and updates within deadlines, especially during busy periods such as seasonal demand spikes.
  • Prioritizing tasks related to stock counts, order fulfillment, and administrative duties.

8. Basic Accounting and Financial Knowledge

  • Understanding how inventory impacts the company's bottom line, especially in terms of carrying costs and stock turnover.
