We are looking for aSite Engineers for one of our Post Constructionindustry client in Dubai. The role involvestechnical managerial and supervisory tasks requiring a combinationof engineering knowledge practical skills and strong leadership.Site engineer is part of the site management team and takes some ofthe responsibility for security health and safety and organizingand supervising materials and people. Site engineer marks out thesite makes sure designs are applied correctly and liaise with mainand subcontractors and the site manager. Site engineer perform atechnical organizational and supervisory role on constructionprojects. Site engineer has to execute the job as per the approveddrawings designs and schedule following the approved methodstatements without compromising the safety and quality withapproved materials. He has to maintain good relationship with theclientengineers.

JOBSUMMARY:
  • Daytoday management of the site including supervising andmonitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
  • Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as perspecifications.
  • Overseeingthe selection and requisition of materials.
  • Monitoringand interpreting the design and drawings supplied by the client.
  • Liaisingwith any consultants subcontractors supervisors quantity surveyorsand the general workforce involved in theproject.
  • Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities inorder to meet agreed deadlines.
  • ResponsibleforOverseeing quality control and health and safety matters onsite.
  • Preparing reports as required.
  • Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with thespecified requirements.
  • Observance of safety requirements.
  • Qualitycontrol in accordance with approved method statements quality plansand inspection and test plans all prepared by the projectmanagement team and by subcontractors.
  • Providingdata in respect of variation orders and siteinstructions.
  • Preparing record drawings technical reports sitediary


RequirementsQualifications:
EducationalRequirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Civil EngineeringConstruction Management or a relatedfield.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g.NEBOSH OSHA) areadvantageous.
ExperienceRequirements:
  • Minimumof 24 years of experience in a similar rolewithin the constructionindustry.
  • Experience in overseeinglargescale construction projects including residential commercialor infrastructuredevelopment.
  • Experience withconstruction software (e.g. AutoCAD MS Project Primate) is anadvantage.
TechnicalSkills:
  • Strongknowledge of construction techniques building materials and safetystandards.
  • Proficiency ininterpreting construction drawings plans andspecifications.
  • Familiarity withrelevant local and international building codes andregulations.
  • Strong understanding ofproject management and schedulingtools.
SoftSkills:
  • Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills able to interact effectivelywith stakeholders at alllevels.
  • Good problemsolving abilityespecially under pressure.
  • Excellentorganizational and timemanagementskills.
  • Strong leadership and teammanagement capabilities.

Qualifications:Educational Requirements: Bachelor s degree or equivalent in CivilEngineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevantcertifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are advantageous. ExperienceRequirements: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Site Engineer asimilar role within the construction industry. Experience inoverseeing large-scale construction projects, includingresidential, commercial, or infrastructure development. Experiencewith construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primate) isan advantage. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of constructiontechniques, building materials, and safety standards. Proficiencyin interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.Familiarity with relevant local and international building codesand regulations. Strong understanding of project management andscheduling tools. Soft Skills: Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, able to interact effectively withstakeholders at all levels. Good problem-solving ability,especially under pressure. Excellent organizational andtime-management skills. Strong leadership and team managementcapabilities. Attention to detail and high standards of qualitycontrol.
