JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadthe development and review of materials selection and corrosioncontrol strategies for the engineering phase of oil and gasprojects.
- Provide technical expertise in theselection of materials coatings and corrosion inhibitors to ensureproject compliance with ADNOC standards and internationalcodes.
- Oversee the preparation of materialspecifications datasheets and design philosophies for pipelinesprocess equipment and facilities.
- Conductcorrosion risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigationmeasures for various systems.
- Review andapprove vendor documentation ensuring alignment with projectrequirements and ADNOCspecifications.
- Coordinate withmultidisciplinary teams including process mechanical and pipelineengineering to resolve material and corrosionrelatedissues.
- Provide guidance on material andcorrosion challenges during design procurement and fabricationstages.
- Ensure compliance with projecttimelines by monitoring deliverables and addressing potentialdelays.
- Support HAZOP design reviews andtechnical meetings to ensure effective riskmanagement.
- Act as the primary point of contactfor materials and corrosion engineering with clients vendors andinternal teams.
KEYQUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Materials ScienceMetallurgical Engineering or related field.
- 15years of experience in materials and corrosion engineering for oiland gas projects.
- Significant experienceworking on ADNOC projects and familiarity with their standards andspecifications.
- Strong knowledge ofinternational standards including NACE ASME andAPI.
- Proven ability to manage engineeringdeliverables and meet tightdeadlines.
- Excellent problemsolvingcommunication and team coordinationskills.
- Must be immediately available and basedin the UAE.
