We are seeking a highly skilled MATERIALS AND CORROSION PROFESSIONAL to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and/or Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and Concept Select of medium to large scale projects. Good knowledge and understanding of the most prevalent degradation mechanisms in the Oil & Gas Industry and relevant corrosion mitigation strategies are required.
Main responsibilities include developing FEED/Detailed Engineering Design philosophies/design basis, material selection reports, material selection diagrams, corrosion control documents, and cathodic protection scope of work/design basis. The candidate should also have good knowledge and experience in cathodic protection deliverables.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in Oil & Gas engineering projects.
- Expertise in materials and corrosion deliverables in FEED and DED phases.
- Strong knowledge of cathodic protection deliverables.
- Experience working on Middle East projects.
- Basic knowledge of integrity operating windows and corrosion monitoring techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and recommended practices.
- Proficiency in corrosion modelling using industry-standard software tools.
