The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures to maintain a safe work environment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with UAE safety regulations, NEBOSH, OSHAS, and industry best practices.Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and corrective action plans.Monitor fleet safety compliance, ensuring adherence to transport safety protocols.Conduct safety training sessions for drivers, warehouse staff, and operational teams.Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to emergency response procedures.Coordinate with regulatory authorities and assist in audits, certifications, and compliance reporting.Maintain accurate records of safety performance metrics, violations, and corrective actions.Lead safety initiatives to promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.Certifications:NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)OSHAS 18001 / ISO 45001 CertificationAdditional HSE certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Safety) are a plus.Experience: Minimum 5 years in UAE in a transport & logistics company.Skills & Expertise:Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international HSE standards.Experience in fleet safety, driver safety programs, and warehouse safety.Excellent communication and training skills to ensure compliance at all levels.Ability to conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.Proficiency in safety management systems and reporting tools.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.#J-18808-Ljbffr
