One of the leading structuressteel companies delivering steel design and detailing services forbuilding & industrial construction is seeking a highlyskilled and detailoriented Production Engineerto join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible forplanning managing and overseeing production processes to ensureefficient operations highquality output and costeffectivemanufacturing. You will play a key role in optimising processestroubleshooting issues and implementing innovative solutions toimprove productivity.

KeyResponsibilities

  • ProductionPlanning &Management:
    • Developand execute production schedules to meet output and qualitytargets.
    • Monitor and manageproduction processes to ensure efficiency and compliance withcompanystandards.
  • ProcessImprovement:
    • Analyzeproduction workflows and identify areas forimprovement.
    • Implement leanmanufacturing techniques and costsavingmeasures.
  • QualityAssurance:
    • Ensureproducts meet quality standards by maintaining and improvingquality control procedures.
    • Addressand resolve quality issues to minimize defects andwaste.
  • EquipmentMaintenance:
    • Overseethe maintenance and proper functioning of machinery andequipment.
    • Coordinate with themaintenance team for repairs and preventativemaintenance.
  • HealthSafety andCompliance:
    • Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and companypolicies.
    • Promote a culture ofsafety among teammembers.
  • Collaboration&Coordination:
    • Workclosely with the design procurement and supply chain teams toensure smooth productionoperations.
    • Liaise with vendors andsuppliers to ensure the timely delivery ofmaterials.
  • Reporting&Analysis:
    • Maintainaccurate production records and generate regular reports formanagement.
    • Use data and analyticsto track performance metrics and driveimprovements.


    Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil andMechanical).
    • Minimum of 4 years ofexperience as Production Engineer preferably in industry e.g.construction oil & gas orinfrastructure.
    • Proficiency inCAD/CAM software and other production planningtools.
    • Knowledge of leanmanufacturing principles Six Sigma and processoptimization.
    • Familiarity withequipment maintenance and troubleshootingtechniques.
    • Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities.
    • Ability towork under pressure and meetdeadlines.
