POSITION TITLE: ProductionEngineer

KEY RESULTS /ACCOUNTABILITIES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES

Responsible for production planning functions of projectsincluding receipt of drawing packages & requisitionsorganizing & updation of planning database sections rawmaterials forecasting & nesting job allocation to variousfabrication bays tracking of workflow at every stage until deliveryperiodical project reporting coordination with all stake holders tomeet the management objectives and project requirements.

JOB SUMMARY (Major functions of the position)

Major functions includes

To receivedrawing packages & requisitions ensuring the availabilityof all datas required for our process.

Organising & updation of planning database to havethe access for all concerned personnel.

Assistance to shop monthly plan preparation based on theproject forward load chart & site sequentialrequirement.

Allocation of fabrication drawingsamong all fabrication bays based on the given weekly/monthly plan& loading pattern.

Revision &hold control of fabrication drawings and continuous updation toproduction bays.

To carry out productionprogress monitoring to ensure the works are done as per the givenplan and to initiate the counter measure action whenever it islacking.

Ensuring the changes in fabricationdrawings / requirements during or after production are documentedthrough change orders for the additional claim.

Periodical progress reporting to the projectsteam.

Coordination with all concerned for theshop floor activities like drawing queries free issue materialserection sequence & site requirements etc.

Assistance for the continual improvement of productionplanning & reporting processes.

Adhereto all company policies procedures ethics codes and ensure thatthey are communicated and implemented with in eachproject.

Perform other duties as assigned toensure the success of project and shop objectives.

Sections raw materials forecasting for the availabledrawings & arrangement in coordination with projects teamto ensure sufficient raw materials are available to carry out theproduction.

Preparation of sections nestingplans & materials requisitions and distribution to cnc shop& material control department to start raw materialspreparation.

Coordination with projects& design team for the shop splicing approvals.

Maintenance of related database on raw materials receiptstatus offcuts availability cutting plan release status etc. andrelated documents in order.

Preparation of rawmaterials reconciliation statements and consequently monitoring& controlling effective usage of raw materials to reducescarp margin & offcuts generation.

Responsibility for the quality of the product produced andfor creating value through process improvement with a clear focuson safety quality and production.

Planproduction schedule daily considering lead times due dates andresources; clarify and optimise the plan

SubmitDPR and Biweekly reports regularly through email and hardcopy toTop Management.

Respond to technicalclarifications from the supplier maintain a register and ensureproject work complied with conditions set out in the scope ofwork.

Qualification

Diploma orBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience

8 years of related experience and competency in computersoftware such as MS office MS outlook MS project is mustrequired
