KeyAccountabilities

ShiftManagement

 Plan the plantoperations' shifts to ensure availability of the requiredstaffing and skills.

 Organize the workloadamong the shift teams to ensure balanced activities by the teamsper shift to meet the respective targets.

Lead the daily communications for shift and operations updates toensure consistent and timely information cascaded to theteam.

 Auditing of the shift duties accordingto operation checklists and suggest necessary update, and review ofdaily checklist and SOPs implementation.

Provide the team with support and guidance in relevance to allactivities, policy and procedures Production Planning &Control

 Lead the daily operations to meetthe production targets, while ensuring compliance to the respectiveplant practices in the areas of HSE, Asset Integrity, Process,Product, and Technology.

 Direct, co-ordinateand supervise the Plant activities and assigned personnel on shift.Perform management functions at the level established by SeniorManagement.

 Plan and update operationschedule and communicates this with the planningteam.

 Interface with Production Planning& Participate in the meetings with OPCO's onoperations & coordinationissues.

Internal AssetManagement

 Lead the team to support safe andproper plant working conditions to safeguard thecompany's team, assets, products, andenvironment.

 Review the Logs of the ShiftSupervisors with emphasis on ensuring quality and detailpresentation of data. Submit technical reports on Plant trips,abnormal operations/accidents/near misses.

Participate in root cause analysis and propose modifications toequipment to improve efficiency. Include studying various problemsrelated to the operating equipment, making recommendations forimprovement. Authorize for implementing Engineering and otherChanges in Plant.

 In close co-operationswith Production engineer(s) and Shift Supervisor, follow-upUtilities plant operations regarding, plant optimisation, equipmentstatus, product specifications, and asset relatedstakeholders.

 Follow-up run length andperformance for critical equipment

 Monitorperformance of equipment and process units and initiate changes toimprove plantreliability/operability/maintainability.

Monitor performance of equipment and process units and suggestimprovements to enhance plant reliability. He is the focal pointfor Co-ordination with External parties supply. MaintenanceCoordination

 Monitor the status of allequipment within the Plant through frequent inspection to ensurethat equipment is in the best possible condition with relation tosafety and performance

 Direct and controlthe preparation of Plant equipment for maintenance &overhaul activities ensuring safe workingconditions.

 Give guidelines for preparinginstructions and plans (SOP's) to isolate and prepareequipment and/or process units for safe maintenance activities.Updates Operating Manuals as necessary to reflect gained operatingexperience and newequipment.

Qualifications,Experience, Knowledge &Skills

MinimumQualification

 UniversityDegree In Chemical Engineering Or EquivalentQualifications.

MinimumExperience & Knowledge &Skills

 Minimum of 10 years of experience inplant operations with at least 5 years of leadingrules.

 Good Problem Solving, Analysing andLeadership skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonalskills, multi-cultural workforce exposure

Demonstrate presentation skill.
