The Project Manager MEP is the interfacebetween the Employer and the contractor and is responsible for thesuccessful delivery of the project to the required standard andprogramme.

Working as part of a small team theProject Manager MEP will need to have excellent communicationskills and proven abilities to manage the main contractorsubcontractors and the Supervision Consultant to ensure the projectis delivered to the highestquality.

  • Fullyunderstands all elements of MEPservices.
  • Demonstrable experience of preparingTesting and Commissioning Plans and delivering onsite.
  • Demonstrable experience of deliveringcomplex real estate/buildingprojects 
  • Demonstrableknowledge/experience of successful project delivery of complexprojects with multiple interfaces.
  • Comfortableinteracting with all levels ofmanagement.
  • Construction managementexperience 
  • Ability to clearlycommunicate project objectives to the team to ensure clarity ofdirection to ensure all parties are clear on priorities and thatcritical activities are achieved.
  • MonitorsSupervision Consultants performance with respect tocontractor/subcontractor submittals and QA/QC and recommendscorrective action when required.
  • Ensure arobust adherence to procedure whilst looking for continuousimprovement.
  • Ensure programme construction withcorrect logic and sequencing to meet contract requirements andconstraints.
  • To be aware of and maintain anunderstanding of the contract documents codes of practice standardsand specifications
  • Provide consistent andproactive reporting at project delivery team and businesslevel.                        
  • Understand thefinancial implications of the methods and sequences of constructionthat are proposed andplanned. 

Qualifications:

  • BE (orequivalent) in an Engineeringdiscipline.
  • Middle East project experience ispreferred ideally within the real estate sectors  (HotelsMalls Residential etc) 
  • Minimum of 5years of related work experience in construction projectmanagement.
  • Proven ability to perform in atechnical role possess good written and oral communication skillsand have a thorough understanding of HSEE and industry practicesandregulations
