Our client a leading marine services company in Abu Dhabiis seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crewing Officer tojoin their team. As a Crewing Officer you will be responsible formanaging the crewing operations for the companys fleet ofvessels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain crewing schedules for all vesselsensuring adequate manning levels at all times
Coordinate crew changes travel arrangements and visa requirementsfor crew members
Maintain accurate crew recordsand ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and companypolicies
Monitor crew performance and providesupport for any training and development needs
Liaise with recruitment agencies and conduct interviews to selectsuitable candidates for open positions
Coordinate with vessel managers and other departments to ensuresmooth crew rotations and timely crew changes
Handle crewrelated issues including grievances complaints anddisciplinary actions
Manage crew payroll andexpenses ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Stay updated on industry regulations and changes increwing requirements
Participate increwingrelated meetings and provide reports to senior management asneeded.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in maritime studies human resources or a relatedfield
Minimum of 3 years of experience increwing operations preferably in the marine industry
Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and crewingrequirements
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
Ability to work underpressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and crew managementsoftware
Fluent in English both written andspoken.
