Requirements

PrincipalAccountabilities:

Managethe Supplier Relationship Management team in executing the longterm and yearly operational plans to provide the requiredcontribution to the achievement of the Department s andobjectives.

Communicatethe objectives and business context of NPCC and the Department toensure alignment and common understanding of the objectives (inparticular the HSEobjectives).

Delegateand supervise the implementation of performance objectives for theTeam based on single point accountabilities as well as to establishmonitoring mechanisms in order to ensure that these objectives aredelivered.

Managethe budget infrastructure and human resources of the Team toachieve the objectives in an effective and costconsciousmanner

Identifygaps in staff competencies and to pursue opportunities to developthem by coordinating with to establish a competent workforce and tosupport NPCC in achieving the Emiratisationtargets.

Managethe development and efficient maintenance of the central CommercialDirectory for prequalified and registered Suppliers in order toimprove the efficiency of the commercial processes and to ensurethat the company s Business is made with reliable cost effectiveand suitably qualified suppliers as per Shareholdersguidelines

Developmanage and continuously improve the effectiveness of the vendorprequalification system andprocess.

Driveand manage supplier qualification activities in line with worldclass bestpractices.

Ensurethat the vendor prequalification and registration system is updatedwith all relevant information including those related to regulatory(e.g. VAT or GST registration) and client local contentrequirements (e.g. ICV orIKTVA).

Coordinatewith Quality Management and relevant functions for the performanceof audits on vendors and contractors at various stages ofprequalification performance evaluation or other situations andattend and followup on suchaudits.

Managethe planning and execution of targeted market researches in orderto timely and effectively support the development of commercialstrategies and the decision makingprocess.

Identifyand assess the less developed areas of the supplier database withstrong impact on NPCC business and plan direct and manage theenhancement of such areas with a view of the overall NPCC plans ofgeographic and/or new marketsdevelopments.

Ensureexcellent communication internally and externally on mattersrelated to SRM including conducting annual vendor satisfactionsurveys and workshops as may deemednecessary.

Reviewvendor database structure periodically to confirm its adequacy tothe nature of businessrequirements.

Evaluateat intervals the criticality matrix to assess its continuingrelevance to NPCCbusiness.

Ensureblacklisted and suspended vendors are not available for businesstransactions on the ITsystem.

Managethe adhoc vendor addition to ensure proper approvals are obtainedadded vendors are shown in relevant categories their fullprequalification is pursued the basic due diligence is performed inview of the prevailing circumstances at the time ofaddition.

Manageand drive Supplier Quality Management to ensure adequate processesarefollowed.

  • 3years in senior Supervisorypositions
  • 5years inSRM
  • Workingexperience in Six Sigma Quality Management Performance Managementand development/improvement ofprocedures
  • Trackrecord in developingsubordinates
  • Highlevel of English language skills and Arabic language ispreferable
  • Excellentcommunication presentation and leadershipskills
