Carries out safe handlingunloading/loading of cylinders and other materials to /from

vehicles. Counts the cylinders in stacksand in vehicles.

Identifies the cylinders andsegregates them by the indicators of size filled empty

EMGAS NonEMGAS manufactured retest date abnormalities.

Takes care of sealing stencilling labellingleak check and filling of cylinders.

Handlesdecanting of cylinders as well as hydrotesting punching valvefixing and

removal activities.

Identifies segregates and fills cylinders as perprocedure. Ensures cylinders are filled

withinaccepted tolerance.

Carries out all jobs asadvised by the Shift Supervisor including generalcleaning

housekeeping and washing ofcylinders.

Assists in equipment maintenance anddoes painting of cylinders pipelines

equipmentand vehicles.

Participate in internal trainingsand briefing and gain knowledge about all products

and their safe handling practices.

Observes all safety norms and carries out his duties in accordancewith prescribed

safety procedures.

Ensures that workplace hazards are reported to the ShiftSupervisor/Plant Manager.

Participates in firedrills and other emergency procedures.

Takesappropriate emergency measures when required.

Knows the Companys and Environment Health & Safety PolicyProcedures

Regulations and Objectives as theyrelate to his area of responsibility and ensure that

they are effectively implemented in his domain.

Should be flexible to work in different shifts based onthe work requirements and

weeklyschedule.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS.

Minimumpass in Senior Secondary level (10 2). Experience in oil & gasIndustry is

preferred.

Goodinterpersonal skills to maintain cordial working relations withcolleagues

superiors and customers.

Basic knowledge of Safety and related procedures andexperience in an ISO Quality

environment will beadvantageous.

Good communication skills areessential combined with the ability to read and

understand.

Knowledge of other languages will beadvantageous.

Basic computer knowledgeespecially MS office is advantageous.

Must havebasic hygiene and keep staff room pantry and toilet areasclean.
