About the Role

• Supervise and manage the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all plant vehicles, including heavy equipment, trailers, buses, and pickups.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for vehicle operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, and external service providers for repairs and spare parts procurement.
• Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify issues and ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Train and oversee a team of mechanics and maintenance staff to ensure high-quality work standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry best practices.
• Report breakdowns, maintenance progress, and cost analysis to senior management.

What do we need from you

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and fleet management, preferably in construction, facilities management, or industrial plants.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, trucks, and plant vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and fleet management systems.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of mechanics and technicians.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking software.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• UAE Driving License (preferred).
