Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced Quality Manager to join our team for the BP_ROO Projectin Abu Dhabi. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible forensuring that all aspects of the project meet the highest standardsof quality and compliance.

KeyResponsibilities

Develop andimplement quality management strategies and plans for all phases ofthe Feed Design EPCM project, with key focus areas around DesignAssurance. Implementation of a Project Quality Management System(PQMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 andcontract requirements. Manage the delivery of quality objectives byproviding leadership and direction to team members. Preparation andimplementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Leads theimplementation of the project quality requirements in accordancewith the PQP and contract. Ensure all project team members at alllocations are aware of the PQP and meet its requirements. Implementand manage the Risk Based Audit Program to monitor adherence andidentify improvement to the PQMS, to include supplier andsubcontractors' audits as required. Monitor andindependently report to the Project Manager on the effectiveness ofthe PQMS. Identify and resolve deviations from project requirementsand ensure that systems and procedures are established to avoidrecurrence. Monitor the application and effectiveness of the PQMSand provide recommendations for the management review. Establishand report on project quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Manage the project quality induction program. Ensure compliancewith industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and otherstakeholders to address quality issues and drive continuousimprovement. Develop and maintain quality documentation, includingprocedures, work instructions, and quality records. Lead qualitytraining and awareness programs for project teammembers.

AdditionalResponsibilities

Implementcorrective and preventive actions to address quality issues andprevent reoccurrence. Coordinate with third-party quality assuranceteams to ensure project compliance. Manage supplier quality andconduct supplier audits as necessary. Facilitate internal andexternal quality reviews to gather feedback and improve processes.Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvementthroughout the project team. Stay updated on industry bestpractices and incorporate them into the project's qualitymanagement system. Provide guidance and support to project teammembers on quality-related matters. Ensure that all projectdeliverables meet client expectations and quality standards. Leadroot cause analysis investigations for quality incidents anddevelop action plans for resolution. Conduct risk assessmentsrelated to quality and implement risk mitigationstrategies.

Requirements

Bachelor'sdegree in engineering or related field. Proven experience as aQuality Manager in the EPCM industry, preferably in feed designprojects. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools,and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) ispreferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamicenvironment.

  4. DataAnalysis:

    • Analyzingquality metrics and KPIs using tools like Excel, Minitab, or PowerBI.
    • Statistical Process Control(SPC).

  5. RiskManagement:

    • Identifyingand mitigating risks using FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, or similarmethods.

  6. SupplierQualityManagement:

    • Evaluatingand auditing suppliers.
    • Developing supplierquality standards and ensuringcompliance.

  7. ComplianceandRegulation:

    • Ensuringadherence to regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, CE marking,GMP).
    • Managing certification and regulatoryinspections.
