We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical QC Engineer to join our top-notch quality controls team on one of our prestigious projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and reviewing construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Mechanical works.
- Monitoring all phases and processes necessary for the effective completion of Mechanical works.
- Managing the inspection and testing of Mechanical works, including overseeing the work of QC Inspectors.
- Preparing, filing, and maintaining test/inspection records and other quality records generated related to Mechanical works.
- Notifying the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and submitting Non-conformance Reports as needed.
- Assisting the QC Manager in conducting periodic audits, including those of sub-contractors and suppliers.
- witnessing all NDT and Mechanical testing specified.
- Assisting in preparing final documents for certification.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience, with ADNOC experience being an advantage.
- Fully applicable EPC experience in Oil and Gas projects.
- An excellent command of the English language.
- In-depth knowledge of inspection and certification procedures for Pipeline, Piping, Structures, Process equipment, packaged units, NDT methods, Welding activities, Test Package Management, and Mechanical Completion – oil and gas EPCM projects.
This position requires someone who:
- Can work independently, exercising professional judgment and coordination skills.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills.
