JobOverview:

We are looking tohire an experienced female Homeroom Teacher (ADEK Approved) for areputable School in Al Ain . Only USAUK and Canadian nationalitiesare required.A Homeroom Teacher is responsible for overseeing thedaily academic emotional and social development of a class ofstudents. The role involves delivering core curriculum subjectsmanaging classroom behavior and serving as a key point of contactbetween students parents and the school. Homeroom teachers alsoplay a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive classroomenvironment ensuring that students thrive both academically andpersonally.


QualificationsandExperience:

Toqualify for this job you should meet one of the followingcriteria:
  • Bachelorsdegree in Early Childhood / Primary Education(QFE7)
  • BachelorsDegree in another subject Valid Teaching License in Early Childhood/ Primary Education OR QFE6 (Diploma) in Early Childhood / PrimaryEducation
  • QFE7Bachelors Degree in another subject Valid Teaching License OR QFE6(Diploma) Teaching Qualification 3 years of Teaching experience inEarly Childhood / PrimaryEducation.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Planning:To plan and prepare courses schemes of work and individual lessons;appropriate to the needs interests experience and existingknowledge of the pupils in onesclass.
  • Settingand Supervising Work by Pupils: To teach a class or classes setsgroups or individual pupils and to set tasks to be undertaken bothat school andelsewhere.
  • Markingand Recording: To mark and assess pupils work and to record theirdevelopment progress andattainment.
  • DisciplineAnd Relationships: To take responsibility for maintaining goodorder discipline and respect for others among the pupils bothinside and outside the classroom; to promote understanding of theschools rules and values; to safeguard health and safety; and todevelop relationships with and between pupils conducive to optimumlearning.
  • Communicationwith Parents: To build and maintain cooperative relationships withparents and to communicate with them on pupils learning andprogress drawing attention to special skills and talents as well asto problems ordifficulties.
  • TheClassroom: To maintain an attractive safe and stimulating classroomenvironment and to contribute to displays in the school as awhole.
  • OverallPolicy and Review: To comply with all school policies andguidelines and take part in wholeschool reviews of policy andaims.
  • Reports:To provide or contribute to oral and written assessments reportsand references relating to the development and learning ofindividual pupils and groups ofpupils.
  • Review:To evaluate and review ones own teaching methods materials andschemes of work and to make changes asappropriate.
  • ProfessionalDevelopment: To be up todate with current educational thinking andpractices
  • PublicRelations: To establish and maintain cooperative relationships withother staff members exhibit appropriate professional conduct anddress and Communicate positive aspects of the school to thepublic.
