Roles and responsibilities

The Application Engineer is a keyrole, reporting to the Sales Director, Applied Indirect Businessresponsible for our Indirect business across Middle East region.The team focuses on the HVAC product portfolio specificallyChillers, Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units. You will be basedin Dubai and will be part of an emergent team that is focused inexpanding our footprint and customer base to achieve our stronggrowth objectives.

You will be supportingsales team on application and product information. As a member ofthis team, you will work within a vibrant environment that providesa platform for you to use your experience to support the team withthe pre-sales/estimation.

HowYou Will Do It

As anApplication Engineer you will use your technical expertise inChillers/AHU/FCU to have the products specified by consultants. Youwill also be responsible for conducting training and seminars forconsultants and end users in the region.

As anApplication Engineer you will be interacting with end users viaphone or in person to gather information regarding thespecifications to be produced and resolve problems, with thecoordination with the BOD and sales engineers. Provide design andspecification development support to consultants, contractors andend users with coordination with the BOD and sales engineers. Youwill assist in the design and development of new products and toolsnecessary to make target accounts comfortable and successful atselling HVAC equipment. Maintain accurate records of targetaccounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts andcorrespondence in company approveddatabases.

  • SalesSupport: Working closely with the sales team toidentify customer needs, propose suitable solutions, andcommunicate the technical benefits ofproducts.
  • Customer RequirementsGathering: Understanding client requirements andtranslating them into technical solutions that align with theirbusiness goals.
  • Costing andPricing: Assisting in preparing quotes and pricingbased on technical specifications and customer requirements,ensuring competitive and profitablepricing.
  • BusinessDevelopment: Identifying new business opportunitiesand areas for expansion, working with the sales team to generateleads and closedeals.

  • CustomerInteraction: Ability to clearly explain technicaldetails to non-technical customers, ensuring they understand howthe product will meet theirneeds.
  • ProposalWriting: Preparing detailed technical proposals,presentations, and product documentation that address customerneeds and highlight the solution'sbenefits.

  • ClientEducation: Educating customers on how to effectivelyuse and implement the solutions, ensuring they are maximizing theproduct'scapabilities.
