About the role:
The Business Support Supervisor in Dubai is accountable for supervising the daily activities of the GEM South Cluster Administrators. This role ensures that the team performs at a high level, meets key GEM Business Support objectives, and metrics within the defined functional area. The Supervisor supports the GEM South Cluster team in handling complex inquiries, collaborates with various cross-country and cross-functional teams to address issues, leads continuous improvement initiatives, and drives standardization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the GEM South Cluster Administrators, managing interactions, events, activities with Healthcare Professionals, handling POs and invoices, and other administrative tasks such as travel coordination, meeting scheduling, and logistics for marketing materials.Ensure timely and accurate processing of requests from internal customers received by the GEM South Cluster team.Act as an expert in the administrative processes assigned to the GEM South Cluster team, assisting with inquiries and collaborating with different teams to resolve issues.Monitor team performance and service indicators, take corrective actions, prepare reports, summaries, and analyses, and document team management activities.Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization, working with management and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.Maintain appropriate staffing levels, plan and manage team schedules based on performance requirements.Ensure that the GEM South Cluster Administrators receive current training as needed, update documentation and work instructions.Review performance, career development, and objectives of the GEM South Cluster Administrators, assist in setting department goals.Motivate the team to achieve individual and team objectives.Ensure compliance with departmental and corporate policies and procedures, provide support for internal and external audits.Collaborate on new service requests and projects of broader scope, aligned with BSM & BSD.Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.Bachelor's degree or higher.Prior experience as a supervisor or team leader in an operational or administrative team.Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.Strong interpersonal and people management skills, ability to motivate individuals.Excellent communication skills, capacity to build relationships through effective communication, influence, and negotiation.Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, lead process enhancements, and engage in projects.Effective problem solver with a focus on customer service.Result-oriented with strong analytical skills.Ability to work in a diverse and matrix organization.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) & digital tools will be a plus.Requisition ID: 582840
